Proper Authorities prides itself on a thorough and effective investigative process. Protecting our client's confidentiality prevents us from sharing detailed testimonials but we can share a few examples of cases we typically see:

Case #1 - Stolen Identity

Perhaps an organization's worse nightmare in relation to client confidentiality issues. Proper Authorities' investigators worked with numerious victims, police agencies, and consumer companies to identify and apprehend the perpetrators who were subsequently prosecuted. The success of this investigation saved our client from  litigation.

Case #2 - Threatening Behavior

A hospital patient was angered by his treatment (which was in accordance with all guidelines) and began a barrage of letters, with veiled threats. The letters made staff feel very uneasy. Our investigators, nationally recognized experts in threat assessment, conducted an investigation and developed an approach that protected the staff as well as met the future medical needs of the upset patient.

Case #3 - Stolen and Altered Checks

A criminal subject obtained legitimate checks from the Company and had a number of suspects cash the checks. Proper Authorities worked with the U.S. Secret Service in identifying the lead suspect in the counterfeit check ring. The criminal had been responsible for numerous fraudulent checks from the Company and other large corporations.

Case #4 - Sexual Harassment

Our staff responded immediately to a claim by three women of sexual harassment. The lead investigator assigned was a seasoned female Detective. Within three days the case was thoroughly investigated and documented. The preliminary report assisted executive management in making sound and reasonable decisions which avoided further problems.

Case #5 - Theft

There had been numerous theft investigations. While often difficult to prove, our investigators were successful in many of the cases. The cases included undercover work, surveillance, covert cameras and in-depth interviews. Ultimately property was recovered and perpetrators were terminated and prosecuted.
